Waterfront Cottage

Enjoy your morning coffee with a gorgeous waterfront view, then enjoy your evenings listening to the peace and quiet and watching the loons.

 

Our 4 season waterfront cottages, have 3 bedrooms that can sleep between 7 or 8 people, a 3 piece bathroom with a shower, and a fully stocked kitchen.  It also has a large waterfront deck with a BBQ.

INCLUDED:

Propane for your BBQ, all linens, towels, cookware, utensils, hand soap, dish soap and WIFI is included!

Cottage Rental
 

Canadian Funds: $600 per day or $3000 per week

American Funds: $500 per day or $2500 per week

Prices do not include Provincial or Federal taxes.  We accept payment in cash or email money transfer.  A deposit of $500 per cottage is required to confirm your reservation, our U.S. friends may pay the deposit by cheque.  Deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied to another vacation at our lodge within 1 year from the date it was received. A $500 refundable Damage Deposit will be held upon arrival.  The full balance is due upon arrival.

All Hunting & Fishing enthusiasts, please bring your Fishing & or Hunting License & Tags with you during your stay.  

Fishing add-on

$150 CAD per boat per week     or    $100 USD per boat per week

This Fishing add-on includes access to one boat for every 3 people.  The boats located at the lodge on Long Lake are 16 feet long with a 30 Horse Power, 4 Stroke motor with 3 Seats. The boat has a fish finder, a bilge pump and 1 live well with an aerator. All boats have safety equipment on board with paddle and personal floatation device for 3 passengers!  We include the first two tanks of gas for our boats during your stay.  Additional gasoline can be purchased onsite! We have a fish cleaning house conveniently between the boats and the cottages which also has a minnow tank. You can conveniently fill a bait bucket provided on your way to your personal boat for your fishing adventure! We also have 14 foot Boats with 15 Horse Power, 2 Stroke motor with benches that are used on smaller lakes within a 30 minutes drive. Don't have a fishing rod? No problem you can borrow one while you're here.

 

NOTE: Anyone wishing to fish in Ontario must have the following: Outdoors Card $8.57 CAD, 8 Day Sport Fishing License $54.38 CAD for a higher catch limit,  Or an 8 day Conservation Fishing License, $31.52 CAD, and a printed summary of your fishing license on your person during your fishing trip.

Hunting Add-on

$ 150 CAD per Boat per day

    This Hunting add-on includes access to:

  • 1- 16 foot Boat with a 30 Horse Power, 4 Stroke motor with 3 Seats for every 3 people on Long Lake.

  • We include the first 2 tanks, additional gasoline can be purchased onsite.

  • We have a fish/bird cleaning house conveniently between the boats and the cottages which also has a minnow tank. Minnows and running water in the cleaning house is available as long as the weather is above zero.

  • We also have 14 foot Boats with 15 Horse Power, 2 Stroke motor with benches that are used on smaller lakes in the area.

  • Tree Stands are available for use if required during your hunt.

  • Boats will be removed from the water once the water temperature is 45F.

Non Resident of Ontario Black Bear Hunting Package

Spring Hunt: May 20- June 15          Fall Hunt: August 15- October 1

$1800 USD per week/ per person      or      $2400 CAD per week/ per person

A deposit of $800.00 is required to confirm your reservation. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied to another vacation with our lodge within the same year if the vacation is changed 30 days prior to your reservation. Prices do not include 13% H.S.T. Provincial/ Federal Taxes. We accept a cheque for your deposit and the balance must be paid in cash on your arrival. 

We are proud to say that all the hunters who hunted black bear with us at Northern Woods Lodge between May 20, 2023 and October 1, 2023 were all 100% successful!
 
This Hunting Package includes a 1 week stay in a waterfront cottage, 1 Bear Validation Certificate (Tag), access to 2 active pre-baited bear sites within our 3 Bear Management Areas, trail camera photos, bait for your hunt, tree stands set up, retrieval assistance if required, use of our Bear Skinning Shack where you can hang your prize bear, then once quartered you can hang your meat inside our attached walk-in cooler.  You will also have the opportunity to fish after your hunt at no additional cost. 
 
NOTE: Anyone wishing to hunt black bear or fish in Ontario must have the following: Outdoors Card $8.57 CAD, Black Bear License $240.81 CAD, 8 day Sport Fishing License $ 54.38 CAD, a printed summary of both licenses on your person during your hunting/ fishing trip, proof of firearm or hunting course accreditation and lastly an Export permit $35.00 CAD so you may bring your trophy home across the border. All licenses should be purchased 45 days prior to your arrival at https://www.huntandfishontario.com.  To Bring Firearms into Canada: You will need to declare your firearm to a customs officer at the point of entry to Canada and have a completed non resident firearm declaration form.
